| We bought this place from an All Black, Ted Barry, who in his 80's couldn't keep up the place. To be kind is impossible; the place was a dump.
A 1920's farm house that had been added on several times and not by qualified carpenters. It was a hodge podge of bad plumbing, bad electronics to go with the rest. I actually tried to talk Gail out of buying it by making a list of everything that needed fixing.
Didn't work and so there we were for 12 years slaving away fixing it up. Plenty of established fruit trees kind of made it up. |
