As you saw from the postmark and stamp, I am sending this from wet New Zealand. Yes, we enjoyed our mad dash thru the States; and yes, we almost decided to stay there. But it was only a visit. We have begun putting money aside for our next trip. And if we don't move back sooner, we hope to be Stateside in about two years, to do it again.

I will be sending the story of the trip to everyone once I get around to putting it to paper - hopefully by Christmas.I am not very busy at work - which is a welcome change, but nevertheless I am running behind in most things, so this is purely intended to be a note to go along with the card.

Back from the States and Gail returned to the same school but to a J1 class which are students that have been in school for only a few months. She is finding it very different as they don't have many skills. Renee and David didn't have much to catch up on which can only reflect on the sad state of education these days. I was afraid to miss a single day.
