Like a broken record, when greeting someone this was always included: "I'm from Joliet, Illinois; its forty miles south of Chicago". In 2008 Joilet is the fast growing city in the USA. Back in the sixties it must have been a sleepy town, because Barb sure seemed enthralled with all the new adventures and sights. I can still hear her yelling to the whole plane that she saw an island as we closed in on Hawaii.
