In his own words: "I've been living on the island of Oahu since 1975 and have been a journalist with The Honolulu Advertiser for the past 30 years. Since I'm originally from Detroit I've been test driving cars and am editor of the paper's automotive car/truck section throughout my career.
The photo (below) was taken in Detroit late last (2009) year while road testing a somewhat slower form of transportation at the zoo.
Hope you get this and that you drop me a line. I've shared many (probably, too many) stories with my Hawaiian-born wife and two kids now 22 and 19. Have been lucky enough to travel to some fairly remote parts of the world, but Fiji is what got it all started."
