Always reminded me of a jolly old English professor. Trouble was that his attempts at humor generally weren't timely or funny and he soon became a pain in the butt. Therefore, we dished it out to him big time. One night Mark and I placed a pile of rocks at his bed ( read about it). When he laughed he would move one hand up his arm as if pushing his sleeve up. He married a Fijian USP student, Ravesi from Taveuni (later a teacher) and they left Fiji in July 1972. He returned, became a citizen, has a great cliffline house in Tamavua and does international consulting there. In 1983 he was Director of Energy. Daughter was Miss Hibiscus a decade ago and they are still there in 2007.
