1959	I worked on LOCO.
1960	School - played Larsen, not the most athletic person in the world, at badmitton. Bowling: 107, 91, 112 (103 avg).
1961	High = 46°F. Bill and I beat Sandra, Signe (who looks pretty good) and Paula McF.
1963	Brother Peter tore into Kelley (we shared a desk in Physics) - he was livid and said that he was holding himself back from smashing Tom, as he once hit a student and broke his eardrum. In chemistry we had to determine as much as we could about an object inside a box. Finished Emerson's Essays.
1964	Night Owls meeting.
1966	Olson got the computer date list ("ideal mate") we sent in for him without him knowing.
1971	Gave Parauni a pup and he named it "Hippie". Got a good session of "Pop Chronicles".
1972	Epeli O, Aparosa, Jonacani N and Pauliasi N caned for smoking.
1973	I went to a talk for "1st year" teachers and EJ told me that I didn't need to attend. Bruce had me witness a caning. I got 28 carnival newspapers for Teresa so she could enter a contest. Went for run - very stiff.
1974	At lunch Simon brought me to bank so I could get $600 to lend to him. Basketball: College beat Cook's Troop 30 - 12. Stephen Harvey made some outside shots. Dunkers beat Protectors 50 - 16. Game started at 10:06PM (on a school night). Ian Scott fouled out (again). Rollo played well. I made 6 points.
1975	Belinda Bell can't get her polyhedron together. Bridge tournament: Catherine and Kay have won a rubber. David Cooper is useless as a card player. He gives everyone something to laugh at. Helped Helen with her basketball project. Elaine and Heather stopped in for a visit. We went downtown and while at fruit store David stole a banana. Sold Kenwood Jumbo to Dave Everest. Put the speakers into their boxes. Sanders over and we made plans for our trip north. Gail and I both cried at the ending of Dark Victory.	Belinda
1976	Practice with Jeff, Rudy and Grant. Put the numbers onto the Cagers uniforms.
1977	Ne's first tooth.
1978	First games of year (grading). A-Squad beat Papakura 24 - 0. B-Squad lost to James Cook A. Big crowd watching the games. Over to PHS with Lee Turner to decide on the grades. Hughes gave me a ride home.
1979	W - John Lake stopped in to see if we were interested in playing in an Auckland Conference in the first division. Then I straightened things out with Dave and Evan from School Supplies, so no lunch.
1980	F - Drove around Edina. Went to the diner\drugstore where she once worked, Clancy's Toyland, and bought kids a calculator and a ViewMaster. At Towns' kids colored and decorated Easter eggs. Read Get the Right Job Now by Jeffrey Eisen. Joyce dug out their cassette recorder and a couple tapes which I used to tape "Saturday Night Live" and Best of Johnny Carson.
1981	Sa - Snow! MGM where I found a Christian Brothers Claret. Salesman was so happy to have someone knowledgable to talk to about various wines. Watched North Stars beat 1st place Blues 5 - 0.
1983	M - Lesser called and we talked baseball. Put the final phase of renewals into production. Gail and kids went to Towns with David and Billy. I joined them after work. We watched NC St beat Houston on a last second shot. Hansens came last night.
1984	W - David and I pruned the cottonwood, then played catch. Ne got in on the action when she got home from dance. She HAS to play softball, even though her hands are so small.
1985	Bought a 135mm telephoto lens at K-Mart for $49.82.
1986	Stopped at Ritchie's - they made up reading lenses, so we have to start all over again. Drove to Sheraton where I met John Rayner and we chatted about getting rid of Andrew for two hours over lunch. He said they almost fired him in Dec, instead lowered his commission.
1987	Sa - Ne's first netball game. Went into work.
1988	Easter Monday - Karioitahi with Whites, Tui and Granny. Real mean surf - full force. I got several good rides and one or two that tumbled me about fiercely. Brought the dogs along and they loved every minute, except when Gail went in. Brought Tonka trucks along for Jackie and Matthew to play with in the sand. Everything came to a halt when David stepped on something cut a deep gash in his big toe. We cleaned it the best we could and went to Whites'. Waiuku doctor not available until 3PM , so on advice from nurse David cleaned the best he could and I dressed it. Look clean and no blood but all the way to muscle. We stayed on for a bbq. Just as Woolies (Charles, Elspeth and Janet) arrived I went for a sleep in the van and missed most of their visit. They brought Tui back to Auckland and Granny to stay with them for a few weeks. That meant we could play bridge, but no cards so Ian and I walked down to dairy to buy a deck. Susi and I were partners and we had an excellent evening of good hands. Went to Video City to get "Meatloaf". Chatted with the Maori fellow about the place since I recognized him from Video Barn. Ended up getting a FM89 bumper sticker, Transformer comic and a bag of marshmellow eggs for free.
1990	Watched Police Academy 2 which was very good. Letter from Leroy (super funny/clever) taking about hitting NZ in July.
1991	Put rubbish from the fireplace in gunny sacks I stored under the house. The bricks I put put by the burner. Walked with Gail. We played Skunk while watching Uncle Buck. David did all the winning.
1992	Ne had two grading games for netball. Played canasta.
1993	Brought a load to Aldies. Steve and Helen were there with son, Stewart; been 13 years.
1994	Whites for Grand Prix. 8 laps, longest in three years. I was post and led the whole way but it took a roll of the dice to prevent Ian from tying me. Couple games of bridge. Susi and I started by making a 5 Diamonds bid and later we made a small slam.
1996	Th - Doug over for RnR TP.
1997	F - TP here - only Ian and Ann.
1998	Sa - Looked at Laure's photos. She and Ne went to MCC. Brought Laure home and onto White's for supper and Australian Grand Prix. Watched Warriors game. Brought Matthew back with us.
2001	Emery's trying to cover the things she wants to know about the computer. Final internet class and I rewarded them with a Dibs marshmallow (wildberrry flavor) Easter bunny. Christine got me good when I told the class that my room was tidy after a week of being too ill to go outside, she said: "So you do go outside?". Chat with Tony Herbas who is worried about his health. email from Laure who has left sunny Spain and is now in Scotland for a few months study.
2002	Photos from Ian in Melbourne. Picked Ne up and brought her for Doug to look at her wisdom teeth. &Read "Uncle Wiggily in Connecticut" by J. D. Salinger.
2003	Spent the whole morning getting RealPlayer to work so I can listen to the Twins 3 - Tigers 0. We picked up Ann on way to Bev's for TP. Full house including Colleen up from Christchurch and Bev's daughter Jana and husband John
2004	Ian brought over his up-side-down hanger and Swedish chair for Steph to use for her bad back. Put together material to mail off with Ne's art work to galleries. Watched Warriors get first win this year by beating other last place team, Manly, 28 - 10.
2005	Bunnings to get slats for pool fence, drop off bulletin boards for Scotty and Ann E.
2006	email not working so into PAG and spent a few hours there on that and the DVD drive.
2007	Couple hours at Harris computer. Carol L stopped in to pick her mother up. Countdown where I chatted with Michael C. His father has had 3 operations on a brain tumor. Then I went to my head tumor guy, Mike H, and got his computer up to scratch. Home for rueben sandwich supper. Watched Who Wants to be a Millionaire.
2008	Clinton, of Novus, came out to patch up the Charade windscreen. And then it took Mohammed 3 hours to figure out the wiring for the 3-way in the bathroom. Watched Armstrong and Miller. Listened to the Twins 4 - Angels 5.
2010	Su - Went to the Warriors vs Manly. Under-20s lost as did the big boys. A young Levon, seated next to me, was there before we arrived and he lost interest way before the second game ended. About 50 Sea Eagles fans were loud and boistrous throughout and enjoyed the win. Read match report at Worriers.
2011	M - Whites over for a couple rubbers of bridge.
2012	W - Usual group at petanque - Ash and I finally won. email from Kathy S. Began taking Sinemet. Tried Doritos Burn - yes they did.
